neighborhood bridges

Mo`olelo Performing Arts Company was selected to be a dissemination site for The Children’s Theatre Company’s nationally-recognized arts education program, Neighborhood Bridges. Teaching Artists Kiyoko and Emily traveled from Minneapolis to Monroe Clark Middle School in City Heights to train us on the program. Trainees included Mo`olelo staff, Young Audiences of San Diego staff, and teachers from the City Heights Educational Collaborative. Mo`olelo’s Artistic Director will attend the Neighborhood Bridges national conference in Minneapolis next week, and then we’ll strategize… Can we adapt and implement this program in San Diego? How do we raise the funds to support it?
