the journey begins

On June 2, Mo`olelo received a grant from The James Irvine Foundation to commission playwright Chantal Bilodeau to write a play that explores the intersection of issues of race, poverty and the environment over the next two years. She begins her journey tomorrow, August 11, heading to the Canadian arctic archipelago where she hopes to learn about the Inuit peoples and meet with the Elders.
